This is definitely NOT a "horrible" picture. In fact, I'm so glad you posted this photo, because it's the one with the clearest image of the two of you. I enjoy viewing your photos of Africa very much, and I enjoy seeing photos of you in Africa, but I like the "before" and "after" photos you now have because we can all see how fit and health you were when you left. As your mother (and mother-in-law), I'll be checking you both from head to toe when you return to make sure you still have all your parts in the right places and that Africa took the good care of you that you deserve. At any rate, I love this photo. I will treasure it as a way of seeing you both, even though you're far away.
We are a couple serving the Peace Corps in Tanzania, where we work in environmental education and agriculture. So far we've trained 2 months in Kilosa region, where we stayed with a host family, and now we're living and working in a small village in the central Dodoma region.

We will pray for both of you as you travel and start a new adventure. We love you

I remember being proud of our garden, but I really don't know what possessed us to post such a horrible picture of ourselves...
Christy & James,
